YATZY

How to play

Yatzy is a very easy and popular dice game in Nordics. To play Yatzy, you need 5 dice and a score sheet. Then players take turns throwing all 5 dice and choosing whether to reroll any number of dice for maximum of 2 rerolls (for 3 rolls total), and scoring points. You can score points for any single row that's empty and which combination your dice make. You have to score a row each turn even if it meant scoring a row for which you had no combination, marking it as 0.

Scoring

You score 1 row each turn in any order. All rows except YATZY score equal to the dice roll. So a 4-4 pair scores 8 points, 3-3-3-5-5 full house scores 19 points. If you get equal or higher than 63 points from the 6 Ones-Sixes rows, you get a 50 point bonus.
